Data Deletion Instructions

Learn how to manage and request the deletion of your personal data and connected application permissions on CleverKeeper.

Introduction

At CleverKeeper, we respect your privacy and are committed to giving you complete control over your personal data. This page provides clear instructions on how you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated information, including any permissions granted via third-party services like Meta (Facebook).

1. Meta (Facebook) Data Deletion

If you have connected your CleverKeeper account with Facebook or signed in using your Facebook credentials, you can remove the application connection and request the deletion of your data at any time by following these steps:

  1. Go to your Facebook profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select 'Apps and Websites' in the left menu.
  3. Locate 'CleverKeeper' in the list of active apps.
  4. Click the 'Remove' button next to the app.
  5. Confirm the removal. This will disconnect CleverKeeper from your Facebook account and request data deletion automatically.

2. Deletion via the CleverKeeper Application

If you are logged into CleverKeeper and wish to delete your entire account directly, you can do so from your settings panel:

  • Navigate to the Settings page in your dashboard.
  • Scroll down to the 'Delete Account' section.
  • Click 'Request Account Deletion' and enter your password to confirm.
  • Your account will be logged out and scheduled for permanent deletion.

3. Manual Deletion Requests

If you cannot access your account or prefer to submit a manual deletion request, you can contact our support team. We will process your request within 48 hours of verification:

  • Send an email to support@cleverkeeper.com from the email address associated with your account.
  • Use the subject line: 'Data Deletion Request'.
  • We will confirm receipt and permanently erase all user, client, booking, and expense data associated with your account.

4. Data Retention & Erasure policy

When your account is deleted, either by your own request or following a third-party app removal, we permanently and irreversibly erase all database records associated with your account. This includes your name, email, workspace memberships, client records, booking logs, payment history, and any uploaded expense receipts. No backup copies are retained after the deletion process is complete.
